Updates
C&C previously took a look at the 2029 linebacker group several months back with the full article here, but here is the full breakdown including offseason updates and new names.
Since that evaluation, there has been movement and momentum shifts across the group. Trenton McCardle (formerly Wheeling Central, now Wheeling Park) and Luvante Kenney (formerly Logan, now Mingo Central) both transferred and continued to trend upward through offseason work. Strong camp performances were also noted from Colin Jones (Williamstown) and Brycen Parker (James Monroe).
On the recruiting side, Jeremiah Jones (Bluefield) added a Bluefield State offer, while Brooks King (Morgantown) earned his first Division I offer from Murray State. The biggest riser remains Tramel Musgrove (South Charleston), who followed a strong showcase with major Power Four offers including Penn State, Tennessee, and West Virginia.
New
The NEW group added a few early names to the radar, led by Matthew Iman, who showed clear size and athletic traits at the showcase. Noah Reed (Spring Mills) also flashed early instincts and movement skills.
Ryder Andruzis (Herbert Hoover), Diesel Byrne (Martinsburg), and Isaac Pickens (Lewis County) each stood out as early developmental prospects with traits worth tracking moving forward.
