C&C previously took a look at the top 2027 offensive line class several months back with the full article here, but here is the full breakdown.
Looking back at that evaluation, the TRENCH WARRIORS group featured technically sound and physical linemen including Jeremiah Lyles (Huntington), Zion Reaves (Martinsburg), Jackson Slack (South Charleston), Parker Chapman (George Washington), Dominic Paesani (Wheeling Central), Ian Fowler (Wahama), and Jack Gamble (University).
The GOOD SIZE tier highlighted prospects with strong frames and functional athleticism, including Chris Garlow (East Fairmont), Braeden Armstead (Cabell Midland), Cooper Keener (Fairmont Senior), Bradyn Coulter (George Washington), Ian King (Ripley), Owen Stanley (Elkins), Lincoln Johnson (South Charleston), Collin Gadd (Huntington), Aiden Estep (Cabell Midland), and Jaxon Topping (Chapmanville).
The PHYSICAL BEASTS category included Luke Braham (University), Drey Grinter (Parkersburg), Zach Gump (North Marion, formerly Clay-Battelle), Gunnar Waxler (Washington), and Noah Hockman (Martinsburg), all notable for their size, strength, and developmental upside.
The top five rankings were led by James Payne (George Washington) at No. 1, followed by Landyn Moore (Princeton), Morgan Watts (South Charleston), Konnor Mott (Morgantown), and Elijah Bausley (South Charleston), each recognized for their blend of size, technique, athleticism, and college-level potential.
Updates
There is a strong amount to cover within the 2027 offensive line camp group, highlighted by transfer movement, rising stock, and multiple players earning new opportunities at the collegiate level.
On the transfer front, one of the most notable moves is Zach Gump (Clay-Battelle) transferring to North Marion, adding immediate experience and physicality to their front.
Several linemen have elevated their recruiting profiles through strong camp performances and subsequent offers. Jeremiah Lyles (Huntington) and Zion Reaves (Martinsburg) have both impressed throughout the camp circuit, translating strong showings into interest from Concord and Glenville State, respectively.
Jack Gamble (University) has added offers from Bethany and Eureka, alongside Aiden Estep, who has also continued to build recruiting momentum. Chris Garlow (East Fairmont) earned an offer from Glenville State, while Cooper Keener (Fairmont Senior) has received interest from both Fairmont State and Glenville State. Noah Hockman (Martinsburg) added an offer from Cal-PA, while Collin Gadd (Huntington) has been offered by Concord and West Virginia State. Bradyn Coulter (George Washington) also added an offer from West Virginia State, and Gunnar Waxler (Washington) picked up an offer from Fairmont State.
At the Division I level, the biggest riser in the group is Luke Braham (University), who accumulated multiple Division I offers and has since committed to Virginia Tech, marking one of the most significant recruiting developments in the class. In addition, Landyn Moore (Princeton) and James Payne (George Washington) have both committed to Marshall, further strengthening the top end of the group.
New Names
One of the most productive breakout performers of the offseason has been Tyson White (Fairmont Senior), who has already collected five-plus offers across multiple divisions and continues to trend upward as one of the more complete offensive line prospects in the state.
Hayden Ward (Linsly) has firmly established himself as a legitimate recruit with multiple offers, while Bryson Washington (Morgantown) has also begun building consistent recruiting traction. Bradley Crowder (Herbert Hoover) has added early offer momentum as well following strong showings in camp settings.
The showcase also introduced several new names worth tracking moving forward. Owen Stanley (Elkins), Coal Park (Morgantown), and Max Huggins (Preston) all delivered performances that placed them firmly on recruiting radars. Additional strong days came from Channing Proctor (Jefferson), Levi Phalin (Independence), Deion Mosley (St. Marys), and Danny Cabell (Sherman), each of whom showed enough flashes to merit continued evaluation as the offseason progresses.
