The SNAPPERS group featured Brayden Hess (Hedgesville), Carter Tipton (Princeton), and Grady Franks (Huntington), all recognized for their reliability, consistency, and special teams value.

The DUAL-PURPOSE tier highlighted versatile offensive weapons including Devon Short (Hurricane), Sean Dent (Philip Barbour), and Jake Endicott (Man), all capable of contributing in multiple offensive roles beyond a traditional tight end alignment.

The RECEIVERS category featured Sean Veltri (Bridgeport) and Kellan Wolverton (Lewis County), both noted for their receiving ability, length, and potential to create mismatches in coverage.

Updates

There was significant movement within this group throughout the offseason, with several players seeing their recruiting profiles take major steps forward.

Antonyo Paschall (Huntington) continued to build momentum on the recruiting trail, collecting offers from McPherson and West Virginia State. His combination of athleticism and production has helped him emerge as one of the more intriguing prospects in the class.

Preston Heatherington (Wheeling Park) was another standout during the showcase circuit, impressing evaluators with his blend of size, strength, and physical presence. His performance reinforced the traits that make him one of the more promising front-seven players in the state.

Additional strong camp performances came from Sean Dent (Philip Barbour) and Kellan Wolverton (Lewis County), both of whom helped themselves with productive offseason showings and continued development.

At the top of the class, Keian Shelton (Cabell Midland) solidified his standing as one of West Virginia’s premier prospects. After accumulating numerous Division I offers throughout the recruiting cycle, Shelton ultimately committed to Army, providing one of the biggest recruiting headlines among the group.

New Names

One of the most notable emerging names heading into the season is Peyton Nicola (Morgantown). After turning in strong performances at back-to-back camp events, Nicola has firmly established himself as a prospect to watch. His combination of size, athleticism, and developmental upside gives him considerable potential moving forward.

Another player who helped himself significantly this offseason was Parker Platt (Sherman). Platt impressed throughout camp settings and appears poised for a strong season with the Tide, bringing a physical and athletic presence that should translate well on Friday nights.
