Overview
C&C’s West Virginia Prep Football Showcase is one of the largest events in the state, featuring 200+ players and many college coaches.
The goal is simple: provide a fair, organized, and valuable experience for every player.
Location & Arrival
The event is at Pony Lewis Stadium at Morgantown High School.
- The school is inside a neighborhood setting
- Parking is available but may fill quickly
- Street parking may be needed
- Do not park on painted curbs or block driveways
Registration
Location: Ticket gate on the far side of the field (up the hill)
- Parents do not need to stay in line
- Expect 30–45 minutes total processing time
- The line will move continuously
Times
- Specialists: 8:30 AM
- Position Players: 8:45 AM
What to Do
- Know your player number (posted ahead of time)
- Give your name and number
- Receive your camp shirt
Dual Role Players
- Specialists begin charting immediately at arrival
- Position players join testing when available
- Staff will help you move between both as needed
After Registration
- Go to the locker room to change into cleats
- Keep belongings with you or leave them with a parent
Photos
- Take a quick photo at the backdrop outside the locker room
- Show your number, then take your headshot
Getting on the Field
- Players are placed into groups (cohorts)
- Groups warm up together
- You may stretch on your own as well
Testing
You will complete:
- 40-yard dash
- Broad jump
- 5-10-5 shuttle
Rules
- One attempt per drill (unless slip/scratch)
- Follow all instructions at stations
Critical Reminder
Make sure your number is recorded before each attempt, especially the 40-yard dash.
Testing ends around 9:45 AM.

- No reckless contact
- No diving at legs
- Keep head out of dangerous situations
Behavior
- Compete hard, but stay respectful
- No taunting or disrespectful gestures
Competition ends around 11:45 AM.
Top Performer Session
- Top 10–20% of players are selected
- Additional testing and competition
- Ends around 12:45 PM
Injuries
- Stop immediately if you feel pain or injury
- Notify a coach or trainer
- If you cannot continue early, let staff know (refunds available)
Recruiting Tips
During the Event
Introduce yourself:
- Name
- School
- Class year
- Position
Ask about upcoming camps.
After the Event
- Talk to coaches if possible before leaving
- Collect contact info
- Follow up after the showcase
Final Tips
- Don’t worry about one bad rep or test
- Stay positive and compete throughout the day
- Have someone record your performance
- Enjoy the experience and stay safe traveling home
