One of the top offensive linemen in the state has committed to Air Force this past weekend. Campbell from Princeton has been a well-known player over the last 3 years in the state. A physical player on the interior offensive line shows dominance and high-level technical abilities. At 6’3, 285; Campbell ranks high in our overall rankings for the 2023 season, being a consistent performer week in and week out for the Tigers.
Eli splashed onto our radar early his freshman year, starting as a true freshman for the Princeton playoff team. He began gathering votes for our All-State lists in 2021, which are 100% voted by coaches in the state. He would be named a 1st team All-State Coalfields & Company lineman last fall, as 15/16 coaches on the panel voted him as a 1st Team Member. 2023 Pre-Season ranks will hold the same accolades.
“I’m pumped about my commitment. To me, it was a no-brainer. I told myself I wanted to play high-level football while also earning a prestigious degree at an institution that would provide opportunity. Air Force is all that. Their offense caters to my prowess, and the coaching staff noticed that. There’s not a better fit for me out there. USAFA has an elite FBS program and the best academics in the world.”
Campbell will be a clear leading force this year for a possible sleeper team in AAA this fall. They are talented and have playoff experience. “In terms of the upcoming season, I’m ecstatic! We’ve got major talent throughout the team. There are special guys all over the place, and our line of scrimmage ought to be elite! Expect to see the Tigers dominate.” said Campbell. We expect the same.
